It has been a busy year at What Now Travel and as we move into 2015, we would like to take a moment to show you just some of the highlights:

In February:

We partnered with London & Partners to produce the Official London City Guide App. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can do it here. Nine months since launch and we’ve had over 100,000 downloads on iOS, without spending any money on marketing!

In March:

After our success at the PhoCusWright Travel Innovation Summit in the US the previous year, we were invited to speak on stage at their conference at ITB Berlin, one of the leading travel industry events.

In September:

We began to grow the team, so we now have eight fanstatic employees.  Some were found through our stand at the tech recruitment fair, Silicon Milkroundabout.

Aftab and Simon were there on Saturday looking for marketing and design talent, and talent we did find. We both spoke so much our mouths dried up and our complimentary sandwiches lay there uneaten. But we were glad we had so much interest – thank you! On Sunday, Stefanie and Theo manned the What Now Travel camp looking for developers and they endured a wave of keen coders fluent in a number of languages.

In October:

The Official London City Guide App BETA 2.0 was released on the iTunes App Store!

We released a significantly improved and co-branded version of the app, just in time for us to present at TechCrunch London as one of their successful alumni! In our newest version, you can still plan online and explore offline – with transit, reviews and contextual recommendations all available offline!

In November:

We were invited to speak at the World Travel Market held in London, where we were invited by Alex Brainbridge of TourCMS to pitch our app in The Travel Tech Theatre!
